If you wanted full-time four-wheel-drive in the early '80s, your choices were AMC, Subaru, or this. Exotic lustmobile then, still pretty cool now.

Oh! My parents and I test drove one of these in early '84. My mom went with a more sensible 4000S (demolished by a wreck with a semi about 15 years ago), but I still dream of owning a early/mid 80's quattro. This is a dangerous ad.
