El Camino, El Ranchero, El... ¡Volvo!



Shame about the '90s rims (and crap pics) but there is no denying the genius at work here. And rare was the original Camino fortunate enough to benefit from a fully functional rear wiper. Bonus points for multiple P1800s and Swedish flag in background, too. If only it were a turbo....

it's an MG (convertible) they never made a p1800 convertible. The super uber uber rare p1900 is a convertible but theres like less then 50 in the world... And it's strange that the Volcamino is sporting a turbo grille but I see no turbo in the engine bay...

i think it registered as an MGB to me at first too, which is why i didn't notice it, but look closer: the windshield is identical to the P1800 next to it. and look at some MGB photos -- you'll see the chrome spear/rub strip on the side sits right on top of the front wheel arch, not a few inches above it as seen here. pretty clear to me that's a P1800 that's been chopped!
