Nissan Cube Officially Awesome

Not like I'm gonna go out and buy one or anything, but I saw one on the street for the first time the other day and it made me smile. Anything that strikes this kind of blow for automotive heterogeneity gets my vote.

Blow against homogeneity (sameness), blow for heterogeneity (diversity). Right? In a strictly automotive sense, of course. This post btw could just as well have been titled "Trolling for Andrew Hime Comment: Nissan Cube."

Yay me, I guess. One of our dimmer poker players asked if I was going to get a Nissan Cube. You know, because Valuecube. (It's also the name of my house.)

They are admirably odd, but things like the optional circle of shag carpeting on the dash make it seem like perhaps they're trying a bit too hard.

this is my dream car. I'm vaguely trying to save money and want to have one by 2011. I'm dying over it!

I have one! It is my first NEW car ever and it is, indeed, awesome. Here's hoping it drives me the hell outta Kansas.
